That’s why our process at exact is collaborative, working with customers to identify their specific preferences and needs and reflecting these requirements in the full process from initial design through to quality installation.
Our service follows a distinct process that we believe is what allows us to achieve beautiful kitchens and bathrooms that our clients love:
1. Consultation
The start of the exact process begins with a design consultation with one of our designers. This is the chance for you to take us through the style of kitchen you are looking for, and any design ideas you have in mind. If you aren’t sure what you are looking for yet, we encourage you to take a walk through our
showroom to feel inspired and gain ideas. In fact, many clients end up choosing worktops, flooring, appliances and even whole rooms from the showroom for their new space!
During the consultation, our designers will understand your requirements and uses of the space to inform their design. We don’t just want to create a beautiful space, but a practical one too, that will work for you as well now as it will in years to come. We will talk through worktops, flooring, and of course,
appliances, and aim to give you a good idea of the cost of your project.
2. Design and Presentation
Once the site survey has taken place and a design is drawn up, we invite you back to the showroom to experience your new kitchen or bathroom presented on the big screen! This is usually one of the most exciting stages of the project, with 3D visuals that bring your room (or rooms) to life in front of your eyes. Of course, we don’t usually get it 100% right the first time, so this is the ideal opportunity to discuss tweaks or changes to the design. Usually, there are a couple of rounds of design amends before the space is finalised, to ensure we get it exactly right.
3. Place Your Order
Once the design is finalised, a final cost will be drawn up and it’s time to place your order! A 25% deposit is required at this stage. However, this isn’t the final order stage, so if you do decide along the way that you would like some alterations or upgrades, this is still very much possible. Your designer will make you aware of the final cut-off date for all choices to be made, to ensure you have time to get your space exactly right.
4. Installation
The final step of the stage is the installation! Part of what makes us so unique is that we not only take care of your design and sourcing of the products and materials, but we handle the whole installation process too, in one combined contract! No need to worry about booking a plumber, builder, or installer - we handle everything in-house, saving you the hassle of coordinating different trades, which can get tricky if timelines run over or things don’t go to plan!
We will provide you with the job length and a full breakdown of the work required, liaising with you to set a suitable date. From there, you can relax, knowing that everything is fully managed by us - letting you focus on getting excited about your new space!
